Hey JD Elite family,
Before you scroll ahead to all the fun, let's cover a little housekeeping and schedule updates. π
π Thursday,July4th we will only have ONE class at 8:30am. There is childcare available, so take advantage of that! Bring your family, wear red/white/blue and start the celebration with us! We are offering our normal schedule on the 5th and 6th.
βοΈ Don't forget to reserve your classes ahead of time and please check-in when you arrive! If you're unsure how to do that - watch our"Check-in w/ Earl" reel on Instagram. Very informational. Need a key fob? Add your name to the list next to the computer. We will get that to you within a few days!
πͺπΌ MWF muscle focus will be upper body. T/Th will be lower body. Saturday will remain full body per usual! Cardio and abs are always mixed in.
π₯΅ Last, but not least - Be sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. The weather is finally heating up (yay) and workouts tend to get a little sweatier. Add some electrolytes to your water and rest when you need to!

Sign-up: You ONLY need to book your spot through Elements Hot Yoga. Once you've paid and reserved through their website, you can attend both classes. We tried to make it easy by having you only register at one studio. *You cannot reserve your spot using a current membership.*
Details: At 8:30am, we will begin at JD Elite with a 45 minute full body circuit led by Tawnie to get your heart rate up and blood pumping. After HIIT, we will break for 15 minutes and walk down to Elements where complimentary LMNT electrolytes will be available to help you rehydrate. From 9:30am - 10:15am, we will have a shortened VinYin class led by Laura, consisting of about 20-25 minutes of vinyasa flow, and another 15-20 minutes of long held Yin postures to stretch out and conclude. After all your hard work, please feel free to stay and snack or take some goodies to go! π
On Saturday, July 20th we will be having a one hour full body HIIT workout at 9:30am to support the HvH mission to raise money for the Bellingham Food Bank and shine a light on the food insecurity here in Whatcom County.
We are donating 100% of the proceeds from taking class! All you have to do is sign-up for class or bring cash and we will do the rest! This will also give you the opportunity to workout alongside Ethan and give him the encouragement he will need as he continues to burn as many calories in one day. There will be local Erin Baker's cookies, electrolytes and prizes from the incredible crew at Fairhaven Lululemon. Spread the word and let's pack the gym for this awesome event! π

We will be doing the Fragrance Lake Hike on Sunday, July 21st at 9:00am. This hike is 4 miles round trip and has about 1260 ft in elevation gain! It should only take us about 2 hours to complete. As a reminder, everyone is welcome to come with us! Friends, kids, dogs, cats. You name it.
Parking: The trailhead is across the street from Larrabee State Park. If you'd like to carpool or just ensure you don't get lost - meet us at the Fairhaven Park parking lot at 8:45am. If not, we will meet you at the trailhead!
We will send out an email the day before as a reminder. It was awesome to get out in the woods on our last hike with new and old friends last month. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 21st! π₯Ύπ²βοΈ
